GREAT Kingshill U10s upset the odds to be crowned Bucks Cricket League champions at the weekend.
They took a wicket two balls from the end to beat Stoney Stratford by the slenderest of margins Batting first, Great Kingshill reached 267-6 in 20 overs, under Barrington rules.
But although their bowlers struck early in Stoney Stratford’s reply, their opponents began to shake off the shackles are looked to be heading to victory in the final stages.
They finally inched ahead by one run in the last over, but with two balls left Great Kingshill took their fifth wicket of the match to the tide decisively their way.
