THERE were mixed fortunes for Bucks sides in the FA Cup on Saturday as Chalfont St Peter and Beaconsfield SYCOB were on opposite sides of five goal scorelines.
Saints marched through to the first qualifying round after a 5-0 win at Camberley in the preliminary round.
Aaron McLeish opened the scoring and Adam Louth converted his third penalty in three matches before the break, with Terrell Lewis, Anthony O'Connor and Alan Hedley rounding things off in the second half.
The Wembley dream is over the SYCOB however as they were beaten 5-2 by Hungerford Town.
Elsewhere Marlow's good form continued as they knocked out higher-graded Fleet Town 2-0 thanks to goals from top scorer Phil John and Michael Bartley.
Both winners have been rewarded with home ties in the first qualifying round, with Chalfont St Peter being paired with Newport Pagnell Town and Marlow hosting Thatcham Town. Chesham United, who join the draw at this stage, are also at home, facing Northwood.
