THE champagne is still on ice at London Road after High Wycombe CC's match at Burnham was abandoned at the weekend.
The Home Counties Cricket League leaders could have wrapped up the Division One title with a win.
But their reply was cut short on 87-4, chasing 177, because of bad weather.
They will now hope for the victory that clinches it next weekend at Welwyn Garden City.
Meanwhile, in Division Two West, Thame Town looked doomed after their game at Harefield was abandoned.
The division's bottom side needed a win to give their relegation fight a boost but instead remain 12 points adrift of Shipton and 31 points behind Farnham Royal.
Higher up the table, Gerrards Cross upset Aston Rowant's title hopes.
They won by eight wickets with Matthew Watson and Dan Hampton both scoring unbeaten half-centuries for the winners.
