MARVIN McCoy will miss the first three months of the season after fracturing his fibula on Saturday.
The right-back also suffered ankle ligament damage during what looked an innocuous incident during the Capital One Cup defeat to Watford.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off with a quarter of the match gone.
Blues are now without a fully fit recognised right back with Danny Foster also injured, with Anthony Stewart - who prefers to play in the centre - filling in for the rest of the game after McCoy's withdrawal.
The Antigua and Barbuda international has made more than 50 appearances for Blues since joining from non-league Wealdstone two years ago.
