INJURED trio Matt McClure, Dave Winfield and Danny Foster could all be out of Wanderers' opening League Two fixture at York City.
Youngster McClure is definitely out after medics said he needs a fortnight to recover from a knee problem, while Winfield and Foster haven't been able to take part in full training.
Full-back Foster hasn't featured at all for Blues in pre-season and manager Gary Waddock said the trio's lack of fitness could lead to them missing the first game of the season.
The Blues boss said: "They haven't had any match time either. They need to catch up on that - there's no point sticking them straight into the side when they haven't completed a pre-season programme and won't have the same fitness levels as the other players.
"Once they are training on a regular basis and they have got some games under their belt, they'll come into consideration."
Dennis Oli is having a knee problem sustained against Brentford assessed, but there was better news for Waddock with the news Leon Johnson was fit enough to return to full training this week.
