LOUISA Sawers, Jessica Walker and Rachel Cawthorn will fight for an Olympic medal after winning through the to the Canoe Sprint K4 final on Wednesday.
Sawers and Cawthorn, from Marlow, and Flackwell Heath's Walker teamed up with Angela Hannah to come through their heats and semi-final this morning.
With only the winners from the heats going straight through to the final, the GB girls were edged into second place by Hungary in their first race of the Games.
However, that was good enough for the semi-finals and they took almost five seconds off their time in the heat to nail down fourth place.
They will now compete against Belarus, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Russia and France for the medals at 10.44 on Wednesday.
