AMBER Lynch and Nigel Cohen have an I-was-there moment to savour after attending the spectacular opening ceremony last Friday, thanks in part to the Bucks Free Press.
Lynch, from Penn, and Cohen won the much-coveted tickets as part of the Big Ticket Giveaway, run by Bucks County Council and South Bucks District Council in partnership with the local media.
In total 100 Olympic tickets were given away, with two each for the opening and closing ceremonies.
Lynch, a Youth Ambassador for the Child Bereavement Charity, said: “It was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing and the people were electric. It truly was a Great British occasion.
“I loved every moment and thought the lighting of the cauldron was completely individual and spectacular."
