SCOTT Rendell has joined Wanderers' Thames Valley rivals Oxford United on loan until the end of the season.
Last season's top scorer is the second player to depart Adams Park in the space of two days, after youngster Kadeem Harris was sold to Cardiff City yesterday.
Having scored 19 times last campaign - including one against his new club at the Kassam Stadium - Rendell has made just 11 appearances this time round and scored once, a penalty against Colchester United.
It's the second time Rendell has left Blues on a loan deal, having had a goalless month at Bristol Rovers earlier this season.
Play-off chasing Oxford host Barnet in their next game, and Rendell could have a swift return to the Memorial Stadium with the U's facing Rovers on February 18.
