BEACONSFIELD High enjoyed a term to remember before Christmas, but there is no sign of things slowing down in 2012.
Their Year Seven table tennis team built on their county champions title to become zonal winners with a resounding victory in Cheltenham.
Wins of 8-0, 8-0 and 6-2 saw them storm to the title unbeaten to book their place in the regional finals, also in Cheltenham, on February 26.
On top of that, Beaconsfield High U16s gymnastics squad – coached by year 12 pupil Kathryn Vanner – were crowned South of England Champions to book their place in the national finals.
Anna Croft and Natasha Nowers shared the top gymnast award on the day.
