WASPS are urgently hunting three players to fill shirts as they bid to fight off relegation in the final few months of the season.

The black and golds are desperate for a winger after losing Tom Varndell and Christian Wade in successive weeks.

Their need for a second row is no less urgent even after last week’s signing of Heinz Koll.

The Namibian is ineligible for European competition and against Rovigo last weekend back rower Joe Burton had to fill in at lock.

Also, with Rob Webber due to join up with England during the Six Nations, Wasps are hoping to snap up a replacement hooker as well.
