Tom Varndell
WASPS unprecedented injury crisis shows no signs of abating after it was announced that Tom Varndell will miss the next three months.
The winger went for a precautionary scan on a foot injury last week but it’s now been confirmed he needs surgery.
With Christian Wade also sidelines long-term, the club are in the market for another winger.
As it stands, Richard Haughton is the only recognised winger at the club although Chris Mayor, Elliot Daly and Joe Simpson could all fill in.
