WANDERERS have received some welcome good news this week with Fulham boss Martin Jol saying Marcello Trotta can stay in Wycombe beyond his January 14 recall date.
The 19-year-old striker has been a beacon of hope since joining the club on loan at the end of November and manager Gary Waddock was desperate to extend his loan spell again.
It seems he'll get his wish.
Speaking to the Fulham Chronicle, Jol said: "It's important for him to play games. Wycombe and the manager [Gary Waddock] wanted him badly.
"That was good because we've got other players out on loan who, if they're not playing, I'd rather they stay here.
"He will stay there as long as we're fine with our strikers. There's a recall clause, so if I need him he will come back."
