DAI Young says he has no complaints about Billy Twelvetrees' first try in Wasps 29-11 defeat to Leicester this afternoon.
There appeared to be a knock-on in the build-up, but nothing was given and Twelvetrees slid over on his way to a personal tally of 29 points.
Young said: "When things aren't going your way they aren't going your way.
"But there is no point whinging about that, we caused ourselves problems on occasions.
"It would have been nice if we could have kept that lead for a little bit, but when you're scrapping for a bit of luck things don't go your way."
Wasps probably deserved a bit of luck after a defensive display that could hardly have been much better.
Young said: "I thought some of our defence was heroic.
"You can never rejoice in defeat, but I thought the spirit and committment and attitude to defend was first class.
"Against a team like Leicester, if you have to defend for sustained periods you're going to creak at some stage.
"But the players gave it their best shot. We weren't good enough on the day, but we gave it our best shot."
Meanwhile, wingers Richard Haughton and Tom Varndell both hobbled off during the game.
Wasps were already stretched numbers-wise, with just 24 fit players to pick from and Mike Powell drafted in to bolster the bench as an emergency loan signing from London Welsh.
