Trotta nominated for Player of the Month gong
MARCELLO Trotta has been shortlisted for the League One Player of the Month award for December.
The Italian striker was in red-hot form with five goals in the four games he played in.
The Fulham loanee scored a hat-trick against Exeter on Boxing Day and he also netted against Chesterfield and Carlisle.
He is shortlisted alongside Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes - who scored four goals in one game against Sheffield Wednesday - Stevenage midfielder Michael Bostwick and Sheffield United defender Neill Collins.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
