SCOTT Rendell has returned to Wycombe Wanderers with injury.
The striker joined Bristol Rovers on loan a month ago but has returned early after damaging his groin.
It's not known how long he will be out, but Bristol Rovers manager Paul Buckle says the striker has struggled with the problem since the summer.
On the club's website, he said: "
Rends goes back, his groins have stiffened up. He's had a bit of a problem in the summer and that's sort of reared its ugly head again so I spoke to Gary Waddock this morning and Scott will go back."
Rendell played six times for Rovers without scoring.
