STUART Lewis said referee Chris Sarginson needed to show more common sense in his handling of Jordan Ibe's goal celebration.
The official booked Ibe when he ran to the side of the pitch to hug his mum after scoring his first Wanderers goal and Lewis said: "Sometimes they've got to have a little bit of common sense about it. He's 15 and to score a goal like that and celebrate like that - I think I'd do it now and I'm 24.
"It's his first start and his first goal. I think it's a little bit harsh. I think sometimes you've got to have a little bit of leniency."
He added: "It's good it didn't affect his performance afterwards."
