CHESHAM United manager Andy Leese says he is expecting the furore surrounding his side's abandoned match against Redditch to be resolved next week.
The game was called off ten minutes into the second half when Redditch striker Josh McKenzie hit the referee.
Chesham were 1-0 up at the time and the club are hoping for a decision on the outcome of the game to be made soon.
The Southern League could order for the game to be replayed, or they could award the three points to Chesham.
Leese said: "They're considering all the reports they will have had. I have asked but I was told last night it will be it will be in the next week we hear something.
"I'm hoping they will give us the points, to cement our league position even further."
