JORDAN Ibe is the first 15-year-old to score a Football League goal in more than half a century - and the third youngest ever.
The Wycombe wonderkid was aged just 15 years and 325 days old when he netted for the Blues against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The last time a 15-year-old scored in the Football League was way back in 1959, when Ian Gibson scored for Accrington Stanley a week before his sixteenth birthday.
Only two players younger than Ibe have hit the back of the net. The youngest ever was Bristol Rovers' Ronnie Dix, who was 15 years and 180 days old when he scored against Norwich City in a Division Three (South) match.
The five youngest ever scorers are:
1. Ronnie Dix, born 5/9/12, scored for Bristol Rovers on 3/3/28 aged 15 yrs 180d
