WANDERERS have signed former Chelsea youngster Danny Woodards on a non-contract expenses-only basis.
He failed to make the grade at Stamford Bridge but has impressed Blues boss John Gorman with a series of displays while on trial with Wycombe's reserves.
The right-sided defensive player has accepted the terms and will train with Wanderers every day as he bids to nail a full-time professional contract either with them or another club.
Gorman said: "He's done that well with us that he deserves the chance.
"We will have a close look at him but if someone else comes in for him while he's here, he can think about that.
"He was released by Chelsea but he's totally committed. He gives everything and never gives up."
Woodards and fellow non-contract defender Danny Brown, who was also released by Chelsea, were both included in Blues travelling party for tonight's match against Grimsby Town.
