OLYMPIC gold medallist Adrian Moorhouse celebrated the outstanding work of public servants at the Bucks County Council Achieving Top Performance Awards.
Mr Moorhouse, who runs a small business in Bourne End, was guest of honour as he handed out the honours to council employees who have gone beyond the call of duty.
The awards were split into eight sections. Ian McGowan, team leader for Collision Investigation and Analysis/Local Safety Schemes won the member-led award. His team was nominated for its work on the Culverton crossroads in Princes Risborough.
