TIM Payne has called on Wasps' pack to get the recognition they deserve.
The prop scored a try from a rolling maul against Worcester's feared set of forwards on Sunday and he reckons his pack were more than a match, despite the referee awarding penalties to Worcester at the scrum.
Payne said: "Worcester have got a great pack but I think refs are seeing scrums go down and thinking it can't be their fault, it's got to be Wasps'.
"There were certain times when I had my bind up, the scrum went down and they blew us up. Someone's got to have a look at the video.
"The refs are only doing their job at the end of the day but I hope there's no guesswork involved.
"We've got a great pack and we physically dominated the last three games. I know we're a great pack and on our day we can match the best in the league."
And Payne was more than pleased at Sunday's final try when Wasps' forwards proved they are no pushovers when they pushed Worcester over for the final score.
He said: "It was a pretty hard game and there was a lot of frustration out there. The referee didn't give us a lot of leeway at all.
"I had a lot of frustration built up so to finish like that was a high for me."
Wasps' first score was another pushover number, with Raphael Ibanez getting the try.
Worcester came back with their own driving maul but tries by Tom Voyce and Joe Worsley made the game safe before Payne's score wrapped up a 34-20 win.
