RUGBY: A depleted Marlow side re-established themselves as the premier team in Buckinghamshire when they beat Bucks Cup holders Aylesbury 17-8.
In a repeat of last season's cup semi-final, which Aylesbury won, Freddie Gorringe Smith led the side out for his 200th first team appearance but it was Aylesbury who drew first blood with a penalty while Jaksa Lovreta was in the sin bin.
But Marlow came straight back and went ahead when 17-year-old Richard Frost produced the perfect cross kick for Chris Biggs to score, Frost adding the extras.
It was Aylesbury who had their noses in front at half time though when they scored a try.
Marlow edged back in front after 55 minutes when Frost converted a penalty.
And they got the all-important try ten minutes from time when their pack rumbled forward and Simon Carter darted off the back to score under the posts.
Frost converted and Marlow were home and dry.
Today sees the Riverwoods Men visit Keynsham (ko 3pm).
