THE man plotting Wycombe's promotion chase has warned they will have to fight for every point.
John Gorman says the league is too close to call with every team capable of beating each other.
The boss has drawn up his own list of favourites but says bottom is capable of beating top on their day.
He said: "We've been given a very hard start with Carlisle at home and then away to Rochdale and Oxford."
Gorman has both Dale and Oxford among his favourites.
He said: "I watched Oxford the other night against Brighton and they were outstanding. Oxford went through a really unusual season last year but now have got a manager in Brian Talbot whose very good and stable and they could be right up there.
"Rochdale are also capable. They pipped us last season and have kept hold of Grant Holt and it will be a very hard first away game for us on Tuesday."
He added: "Colin Calderwood has bought shrewdly at Northampton and they will be right up there again.
"Everyone forgets about Lincoln City but even though they are not the prettiest team they always make the play-offs. Macclesfield will also be dangerous."
But he picked out dark horses Wrexham to make an instant return to the division they were relegated from.
He said: "They have got a great manager in Denis Smith. He knows the game inside out. They only got relegated last year because they were deducted points. They won the Leyland DAF last year and for me they will be one of the favourites but it is good for everyone that they have lost the Spaniard Juan Ugarte "Darlington will also be there. They were so close last season, have a lot of experience and another shrewd manager. They are a team and a club which is going places and Peterborough will be no mugs either under their new manager Mark Wright.
