JOHN Gorman and John Salako will sit down this week to discuss the winger's future at Wanderers.
Gorman is keen to secure the former England international's services, but is vying for his signature with Sky Sports.
Salako is on the verge of penning a deal with the media giants but could sign a "pay as you play" deal as well with the Blues.
Wanderers are prepared to accept the job share agreement and will try and thrash out a deal which suits all parties.
Salako said: "I've made the decision where I'm going to take a contract with Sky, which is going to tie me up a lot of the time so it's really finding out whether it's workable.
"I've done Sky before in the past and it's a good avenue for me when my football career finishes.
"I am realistic and television is hopefully going to be the future whereas football is winding down for me.
"But I feel I still have a hell of a lot to offer."
And he admits he has been bowled over by Blues boss John Gorman and Wycombe.
He said: "There's a real buzz about the place, the club's fantastic and everyone's really positive.
"I'd like to think I could be an important part of the squad and play a part in the season."
Salako is waiting to hear from Sky on when they will need him.
He said: "Until I know what Sky want me to do I won't know what days I'll be available. I've got to suck it and see."
Gorman is prepared to help Salako juggle jobs and wants him onboard.
He said: "He's got things with the TV and other commitments, but we are going to try and work it out where hopefully we can do both. He's an experienced player with a lot of quality."
Salako will play in tonight's final pre-season friendly at Oxford City (Ko 7.45 pm) but Argentinian triallist Sergio Torres won't feature.
Torres played for Blues in a behind-closed doors game against Stevenage on Thursday after impressing for Basingstoke against Wycombe two days earlier.
Stoke have agreed to let the 23-year-old, who is under contract with them, train with Wanderers this week with a view to a deal but he can't play tonight because Basingstoke want him.
Stoke boss Ernie Howe said: "We don't want to lose him but he came to England to play full-time football and if he's given the opportunity, we've got to stand by that.
