DISABLED riders from High Wycombe galloped away with the honours at last weekend's National Championships.
The two-day event on Saturday and Sunday saw the country's best disabled horsemen and women competing at Hartpury College, in Gloucestershire.
Riders took part in a number of events ranging from dressage to vaulting and a team from the South Buckinghamshire Riding for the Disabled Association claimed a number of awards.
Erin Orford and Daniel Fugler won their individual dressage events on Saturday, which helped secure first place for the team overall.
Abi Rogers' impressive ride guaranteed first place in Sunday's team dressage competition while an excellent performance from Andrew Tolmie earned an overall team fourth in the combined training event.
Anna Gill, 12, won the dressage to music junior section.
Theresa Drake, a trustee with the South Bucks RDA, said: "We are really pleased with how it went and we hope to maintain the success in the future."
"All the riders will be looking forward now to London 2012."
The South Bucks RDA is a charity which helps promote the aims of the Riding for the Disabled Association and has more than 100 disabled riders, ranging in age from two to past retirement.
Disabilities vary from learning difficulties and cerebral palsy to deafness, blindness and limb amputation.
