WYCOMBE Wanderers have been reported to the FA after they took another club's player with them on their youth team tour of Norway.
The Blues called up Beaconsfield SYCOB's Jason Robert Griffiths to replace Ikechi Anya after the teenager was promoted to the Wycombe first team squad.
They have since been reported to the FA by Beaconsfield.
Wanderers insist they did not know the player was under contract with Becky when they called the youngster into their side and insist they thought they had obtained Sycob's permission to use him.
Wanderers secretary Keith Allen explained: "The director of football at Beaconsfield Sycob, Colin Barnes, is also head of youth at Wycombe and as such was in charge of the party that toured Norway.
"In conversation with Peter Scott, head first team coach at Beaconsfield, it was suggested to Colin Barnes by Peter Scott that Jason Griffiths would benefit from the experience.
"It was further suggested that the player was possibly going to play his football in the USA next season and was unlikely to be playing for Beaconsfield in season 2005/06.
"Had the club been aware that the player had been retained on an option clause, the invitation would not have been made, indeed both Peter Scott and Colin Barnes believed him to be a free agent."
Allen added: "The player travelled to Norway and played in some of the tour matches before returning to England on July 17."
Wanderers were unaware at that stage that Becky had complained to the FA.
Allen said: "If Beaconsfield Sycob had contacted the club immediately they were aware of the player being contracted, he would have been instantly withdrawn from the party."
Wanderers and Sycob have always enjoyed an excellent and close relationship with their non-league neighbours prior to this incident.
Last season Wanderers played a pre-season friendly at Holloways Park and allowed Becky to pocket all the receipts.
They have also provided a good platform for Beaconsfield's aspiring young players.
Steve Dell broke into the Wanderers team having come from Sycob a few seasons ago while, last season, Beaconsfield defender Liam Patrick played a number of trial matches for Blues at Adams Park.
Last season, Wanderers also allowed some of their players to go on work experience at Holloways Park.
