Hockey: Gerrards Cross missed out on the play-offs for the Cressex Ladies Summer League after suffering second-half heartbreak.
They looked to have gatecrashed the party when Heather Melish gave them a 1-0 lead against Section Two leaders Henley II. But their hopes ended when Angela Heath converted a penalty flick for Henley to allow Wycombe Development to qualify in second place.
Amersham and Chalfont A qualified as winners from Section One with Henley I also going through to the finals on the same number of points.
Elsewhere in league action, Sonning thumped Windsor 7-0 with Jo McCleave, Sinead McGurick, Jenny Page all scoring two each and Claire Gallinore scoring the other.
Meanwhile, Amersham and Chalfont B achieved a four-point 1-0 win without having to even hit a ball in anger as Aylesbury forfeited the match owing to a lack of players.
