Chesham United have given groundshare tenants Southall the boot and the London club will now play at Yeading.

Chesham boss Steve Bateman is delighted to see them go although he accepts his cash-strapped club will miss the revenue.

He said: "Our pitch could not take the wear and tear. I believe the reason we didn't get any top class opposition in pre-season was that clubs like Spurs, Watford and Wycombe weren't impressed by our pitch when they came here before.
