PUTTERS were pretty in pink for a charity golf day which raised money for breast cancer.
Ladies at Harleyford Golf Course, in the Marlow Road, organised a pink day where they raised £480 for the charity Breast Cancer Care.
The 39-strong group competed in a tournament all dressed in pink clothes, wigs and bras. They were then joined by more ladies for a pink lunch including salmon and prawns.
Event organiser Chris Corse said: "We had a lot of fun and a good laugh."
The ladies captain, who has a handicap of 14, explained: "Several of us have had breast cancer so it's uppermost in everybody's minds."
Mrs Corse was diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago and is hoping to act as an inspiration to other women who are battling the condition.
The day was topped off with pink summer fruit jelly which was washed down with pink champagne.
The women thanked the golf club for hosting the event.
