CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho has promised to bring his Premiership champions back to Wycombe after being impressed by the performance Wanderers put up against his side in a friendly.
"I want to come again because everything was great," Mourinho said, "The distance is small, they're one of us, the stadium is very good, it's a nice pitch of fantastic quality better than Stamford Bridge was last season and the Wycombe players want to play football.
"The result was not important. The important thing was that it was good for the training process of my team and I think it was a very good experience for the Wycombe Wanderers players.
"They scored a fantastic goal and gave Carlo Cudicini and Petr Cech the chance of two great saves and played some nice football.
"We scored five goals, your goalkeeper made incredible saves and the game had quality. We will come back next season."
And Chelsea captain John Terry said: "I'm looking forward to coming back. It has been excellent preparation for us."
Blues boss John Gorman was delighted with the praise He said: "Mourinho was very impressed with the way we played and that's a big compliment.
"Chelsea put out all their best players. They were up for it but at times we were terrific."
Gorman added: "I don't like losing 5-1 but I'm proud of my players.
"We played some lovely football against the best team in this country. We scored a great goal at times we were almost as good on the ball as Chelsea we caused them some problems and both of their goalkeepers had to pull off excellent saves.
"But Chelsea aren't the best for no reason.
"They punished us when we made mistakes and they came and showed us why they are champions."
