BLUES boss John Gorman insisted Nathan Tyson was going nowhere after speculation linked the highly-rated striker with a transfer out of Adams Park.

The Wycombe Wanderers hot-shot, who was last season's Player of the Year, was linked with League One Oldham after Athletic manager Ronnie Moore was said to have put in a £100,000 bid. Wanderers say that haven't received an offer however and Gorman added he hadn't heard of any bid being tabled.

He said: "I do know there's been interest but we're not worried about that.

"He's going nowhere.

"As far as I'm concerned, he's our player. They will have to make a really good offer to make us begin to be interested."

Tyson has attracted transfer speculation ever since he came to Wanderers from Reading in a £100,000 move.

And Gorman welcomes other clubs taking an interest because that means Tyson, who has rattled in 31 goals in 69 appearances for the Blues, is doing the business on the pitch.

Meanwhile, Gorman believes he has finished wheeling and dealing in the transfer market for this summer.

The Blues boss has landed six signatures already this year and he reckons that's enough unless he has to replace an injured player.

He said: "I'm delighted at our signings. I've spoken to a lot of coaches and some haven't even managed to sign one player, where we've got ourselves ahead of the game."
