BISHAM Abbey is throwing its weight behind London's 2012 Olympic bid by staging it's own mini-olympics tomorrow.
London's 2012 bid to host the Olympics has been at full throttle for the last year and the International Olympic Committee are less than a month away from deciding which bid will get the games.
With this in mind, Leisure Connection and the team at the Sport England-owned Bisham Abbey are throwingtheir full support behind this campaign.
They want Sports enthusiasts aged between 8 and 12 years to take part in a fun-packed day tomorrow where the top athlete at the end of the day will receive a trophy and a shirt signed by some of our top sportsmen and women, some of which train at Bisham Abbey.
All participants will receive a certificate and the prizes will be presented by an array of international athletes.
Registration for the mini-Olympics starts at 10 for a 10.30am start.
People can also take part in a penalty shootout against a Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper, test their rugby conversions skills and get some tips from the golf and squash coaches.
There will be a bouncy castle and face painting for the kids as well as croquet and volleyball on the lawn.
Children wanting to enter the mini-Olympics should call 01628 476911 to book a place.
