Cricket: MARK Wright was in sensational form as he helped Wycombe Warriors to maintain their trophy charge.
The all rounder scored 107 and also took a crucial wicket as Warriors edged out Eastcote by 43 runs in the Evening Standard Trophy.
And the day before, Wright scored 51 as Wycombe beat Falkland by seven wickets in the Home Counties Premier.
In the Evening Standard, Wright batted for 45 of the allocated 50 overs, the first 20 of which were alongside Gregg Pooley (44).
Robbie Jones added 28 in an opening stand of 77 in the first 15 overs, taking the London Roaders to a total of 268-6. Only Chris Coleman (2-58) and Adam Rowan (2-26) had the visitors claiming victims on a very dry and flat wicket.
Eastcote looked like pulling off a shock win when Stefan and Chris James had a second wicket stand of 134.
But Wright (1-34) and Jones (2-46) got the vital wickets as the Middlesex side were bowled out for 225 in the last over of the game.
On Saturday, Wright was outscored by Matt Eyles, who top-scored with 73 as Warriors successfully chased down their total.
Earlier on, Scott Dyer (64) and Neil Gunter (62) had kept Wycombe's bowlers at bay as Falkland were all out for 230 in 64 overs.
In Division Two West, Mike Stafford was the hero for Beaconsfield as they beat Aston Rowant by five wickets.
Chris Watling, with 61, had helped Aston Rowant record 223 all out.
But Stafford then made 110 as Becky reached their target in 45 overs to claim the 25-point win.
Draw specialists Gerrards Cross made it five draws out of seven games this season in their game against North Maidenhead.
Batting first, North Maidenhead posted 271-8, with Jon Newell taking 5-97.
In reply, the Cross could only reach 228-6 at the close, with skipper Alan Duncan leading the way with an unbeaten 123.
Thame were knocked off the top of Division Two West with a comprehensive 73-run defeat at Farnham Royal.
Farnham Royal were skittled out for 203 to give Thame the chance of another win.
But Thame's batting let them down, with Chris Wynn making 65 as Thame were bowled out for just 130.
