HOCKEY: Jane Crowther scored the only goal of the game as South Bucks beat Phoenix Ranelagh in the Cressex Summer League.
Her strike killed off Phoenix's hopes of notching a first win of the season.
Elsewhere in the league, Amersham & Chalfont beat Wycombe Rye A by the odd goal in a five-goal thriller.
Rye took the lead through Cat Howland but Amersham came back to level with a Katy Shaw strike and then took the lead with a Helen Ferguson goal.
Trish Hicks sneaked a goal that restored parity The match could then have gone either way until youngster Erin Ruxton took the initiative to claim the game 3-2 for Amersham.
