WANDERERS have declared war on football agents and say they won't pay them a penny.
Managing director Steve Hayes said: Our view is that if a player wants to bring in an agent, then the player should be paying for the agent. It's nothing to do with us."
The club has also vowed not to spend money on transfer fees, arguing that there is enough talent on the free market.
Hayes said: "The reason is that it doesn't always produce success and it's cost us a lot in the past and the selling on just doesn't happen as much as it used to."
Wanderers will set their bonus system for players after the fixtures come out on June 23. It is likely that the targets will be set on a short term basis, for example points targets for the next six or eight games etc.
