ROB Lee is the next Blues player being targeted by John Gorman.

The Wanderers chief wants the former Newcastle and England ace to stay after impressing in his appearances for Blues last season.

Gorman told Wanderers World: "It will be all down to finances unfortunately. To be fair to him if he stays with us he'll have to miss his TV work which he does quite a lot of on a Saturday.

"He's not like Steve Claridge who does more work during the week and obviously if he plays football he'll miss out on that so it's something we've got to agree terms on.

"Hopefully we'll be meeting with him later this week."

l Blues boss John Gorman says that Mark Philo is in good spirits despite suffering a stress fracture to his ankle.

Philo missed most of last season after breaking his ankle in a pre-season match against Portsmouth but he's not getting down about his latest setback.

Gorman said: "It's good news in some ways. He's been put in plaster for six weeks which is good because it could have been a lot worse.

"I spoke to him on Tuesday night and he was so positive. It was terrific.

"His spirits are very high and very positive. It could have been worse but it's a stress fracture and it should heal up quickly."

Wanderers are a good bet to win Coca Cola League Two next season.

The Blues are best-priced at 16-1 with Ladbrokes to top the division next season, with Northampton favourites.

But Sportingbet make them fourth favourites to win the league at 10-1.
