JUDO: High Wycombe Judo Centre hosted their 14th Masters Judo Tournament last Saturday with players coming from all over the British Isles.
But that tough competition did not stop the host club from getting among the medals.
Robert Stevens won gold in the U90 category, while David Cooper took silver in the U81 category and Denny Day took bronze in the same category.
Day completed his tournament by securing enough points to gain his Judo Grade of 2nd Dan.
There was also a competition for Kyu Grades on Sunday 22nd May.
In this event no Black Belts were allowed to participate, giving lower grades the opportunity to get success in competition.
Tim King from High Wycombe Judo Centre in his first competitive tournament got a Bronze medal.
