THE Zurich Premiership Trophy that Wasps clinched last Saturday is set to be displayed at the Museum of Rugby at Twickenham.
Wasps had been hoping to keep the trophy after winning it for the third time in a row, especially as the cup was presented for the last time when Wasps beat Leicester in the Grand Final.
The current cup will go out of commission because Zurich have ended their five-year sponsorship of the Premiership and will be replaced by Guinness next season.
But Wasps will only be allowed to keep hold of the trophy over the summer and they will not be able to hang onto it on a permanent basis.
Instead, they will be given a replica of the cup but the actual trophy will be displayed in the museum at Twickenham alongside the previous trophy, sponsored by Allied Dunbar.
Johnny O'Connor has been named in the Ireland squad to tour Japan this summer.
The flanker, who endured a disappointing end to his season when he missed out on the British Lions squad and then had to sit out the Premiership Grand Final through injury, is in a 26-man squad coached by Niall O'Donovan.
He said: "With such a high representation on the British and Irish Lions, the squad for Japan gives us a chance to look at players in certain areas. These include the back row and second row, where there is a glut of talent coming through."
Ireland's first Test against Japan is on June 12.
