MARLOW rower Katherine Grainger was among top athletes who joined students at Bisham Abbey for a day's fitness testing.
The Olympic Silver medal winner joined rower Sarah Winkless, who won bronze at the Athens Olympics last year, to give students an insight into the commitment required to reach the top.
A spokesman for Sport England said: "A key aim for us is to encourage our young adults to get involved with sport."
Bisham's sports facilities are available for community use and are also used by elite sportsmen and women and governing bodies including the British Judo Association and Football Association.
