CBF and Wycombe Town both got off to flying starts in the first week of action in the Cressex Synthetic Pitch Summer League.
They both made it four wins out four on the first night to open up an early lead at the top of the table with CBF leading the way on goal difference.
The early leaders kicked off with a 2-0 win over AFC Barnes with goals from Johnny Isaac and Steve White.
Isaac was on target again in their second match, a 3-2 win over Desborough Park, with Jamie Charles and Robert Charles also netting. Isaac scored again to give his team a 1-0 victory over Totteridge in their penultimate game of the night but he failed to make it a goal-a-game when Jamie Charles (four) and Jeff Lamb accounted for the all the goals in a 5-0 thrashing of Queens Head Rangers.
Kevin Blunt fired a double hat-trick to help Wycombe Hermits finish the first week in fourth position. He scored six of their eight in an 8-0 win over Downley Albion, with Alex Lawson scoring the other two.
League newcomers FC El Shadai opened with a 1-0 win over AFC Risborough courtesy of Matheus Macedo's strike and they took another point in their second game against Beaconsfield when Samuel Cilhail gave them the lead only for James Tripp to level.
They then beat Mushrooms 2-0 before falling to their first defeat of the competition 2-1 against Dream Team who took the points with a goal a piece from Nick Gibson and Adam Durrant.
