KEEPER Frank Talia and midfielder Mark Philo have both signed new two year deals with Wanderers.
Youngster Ikechi Anya and squad man Russell Martin have also agreed new two year deals as boss John Gorman looks to keep the bulk of his squad together for an assault on the promotion places next year.
Gorman said: "It's been a good week's work. I'm pleased to get all four signed up. They can be a big part of this club's future."
Talia's deal completes a remarkable turnaround for the 32 year-old glovesman.
He looked to be on his way out under previous boss Tony Adams who brought in a succession of loan and triallist keepers to replace him last season.
But the Aussie refused to budge and won over new boss Gorman with a string of match-winning saves.
Gorman said: "I don't know what happened under Tony but he's been excellent for me since I got here. He's saved us some very important points and I'm delighted to keep him.
The gaffer was also thrilled to persuade Philo to commit his future to the club. The 22-year-old midfielder missed the bulk of this season with a broken ankle, but Gorman saw enough of him in the tail end of the season to believe that he's got a big future.
He said: "It's a great deal for the club. Mark's still got a lot to prove but he has got the potential to have a great future here. He's an exciting prospect. Everyone is expecting great things of him and it's now down to us and him to make the best of his talents."
Gorman reaffirmed his commitment to youth by jumping the gun to sign youth team scholar Anya on a pro contract even though he could have remained as a scholar for another year.
Gorman enthused: "It's a reward he's deserved. I want to give youth a chance and it's important he trains with us and is involved with us."
But he cautioned that Anya who became Wanderers youngest ever player when he played against Scunthorpe earlier this season aged 16 years and 279 days will have to be patient. He says Anya still has some way to go before he can be considered a fully-fledged first teamer.
Gorman completed his busy week by securing the services of Martin.
Gorman said: "When I first came here I didn't notice him and I certainly didn't realise what we had. He's got better and better and he's someone that will continue to grow. He's got real desire and is just the type of person I want at the club. He's not had too many opportunities in the first team but I am sure that will change."
