WARREN Gatland will keep faith with the same side that was thrashed 45-10 by Leicester just two weeks ago for today's Zurich Grand Final rematch (ko 3.30pm).

The director of rugby's team is virtually identical to the side that was hammered at Welford Road, with the excpetion of flanker Tom Rees, who is ruled out with a ligament injury.

Gatland is confident that his wounded team will come out fighting and be able to turn the tables on a Tigers side who have already beaten them three times in four games this season.

He said: "It's important that we front up. They're a real quality side and they've had the edge on us but when you're in a final and emotions come into it, anyone's got a chance of winning."

Head coach Shaun Edwards missed the Welford Road horror show because of illness.

He said: "I've watched it on video on umpteen occasions. We lost the physical battle and we were dominated which we can't afford to do this weekend.

"If we can win that physical battle, we've got the skills and execution to do well.

"Our first phase in defence has got to be spot on. We have to be really on the ball."

Gatland is considering changing the way Wasps play to counteract Tigers' pressure at the ruck.

He said: "For us, the referee's going to be significant in terms of our style and how we play. We might play more territory ourselves and kick a lot more.

"We might try and make sure players like Neil Back are kept out of the game, stopping him from slowing our ball down. We're a team that thrives on quick, quality ball and when we don't get that, we struggle a bit."

Wasps have received criticism for their set-piece play this year but Gatland reckons that could be a strong point.

He said: "We scrummaged really well against Leicester in the last match.

"I'm very confident our set-pieces can do the job for us. It's very important that they do."
