LAWRENCE Dallaglio has warned his players there is no room for sentiment in tomorrow's final.
The winner-takes-all clash between Wasps and Leicester will be the final game in charge of their clubs for the respective coaches Warren Gatland and John Wells.
Wasps' Craig Dowd and Will Green will be playing their last game for Wasps, while Leicester's Neil Back will be hanging up his boots after the final whistle alongside British Lion and England World Cup captain Martin Johnson.
But Dallaglio reckons Wasps mustn't lose their concentration for the job in hand.
He said: "It's the end or an era for a fantastic player Martin Johnson but we're not there to have a party. Both teams are there to win a serious game.
"They won the league but they know that we have the capacity to spoil their party.
"Both sides really want to go out on a high.
"I'm looking forward to a good day out against adversaries who I respect enormously. Between the two of us, we've won the last six league titles and won three European Cups. It took a long time for the rest of us to catch up to them but we're now the two most consistent teams in the country.
"Playing in championships and contesting trophies is what it's all about."
And Gatland warned Leicester's players they should read nothing into the 45-10 beating they inflicted on Wasps two weeks ago.
He said: "We've inflicted damage on ourselves against Leicester in the past. It's frustrating coaching this team at times. Sometimes we're brilliant and other times we're pants in terms of how easy we concede points.
"Leicester were more battle-hardened than we were before."
Dallaglio added: "Take nothing away from Leicester but we're used to having a reverse on the last game of the season. We got thumped by them and Gloucester last year and went on to win the Heineken Cup and the title.
"It's not a bad thing to have a little hiccup late on in the season. It gives everyone a wake-up call and livens up training. We're really looking forward to it.
"We'll have to significantly raise our game. If we can sort out our first phase and second phase it will give us a good chance.
"Leicester know about that and part of their game will be to stop first and second phase.
"It's the two best teams in the competition and it will hopefully be a sell-out crowd."
