ADULTS with learning disabilities, who maintain their own gardens, are holding plant sales which they hope will put money back into their council project.
The project, known as 309 Horticulture, provides funds for residents at 309 Cressex Road who like to keep their garden in a decent condition.
But project organisers are now urging the public to support the amateur gardeners by buying their plants at sales in Amersham and Wycombe Hospitals.
Joyce Ayre, occupational therapy technician for the Wycombe Primary Care Trust (PCT), who helps run the group, said the sales were not just an opportunity to raise money.
She said: "It's also an opportunity to show others what people with learning disabilities are capable of achieving.
"It's a real confidence boost for the gardeners to see people wanting to pay money for something they have produced."
The first sales take place at Wycombe Hospital from 9.30am today and then on Wednesday, June 8, and Tuesday, June 21.
Dates at Amersham are yet to be confirmed.
