Cricket: NEW-BOY James Skitt is expected to open the batting for Beaconsfield tomorrow when they begin their Division Two West campaign away at Thame Town.
The Bucks Chiltern College student, who also works on Wycombe Wanderers website, signed for the club during the close season and has made a big impression.
He is Becky's only major capture of the summer as Becky look to build on last season's fourth-place finish when they came on strongly in the second half of the season.
They have managed to keep most of last year's squad together with only John Boddington and Rob Bentall leaving.
And Musk reckons that augurs well for Becky as they prepare to start their second season in Division Two West following relegation last year.
The 25-year-old skipper said: "We lost a lot of players when we first got relegated and last year was one of transition. It was a new set of players. No-one was settled and it took time to come together.
"But this year we've kept most of the same squad together and pre-season has gone very well."
After kicking off their league campaign tomorrow, Becky are in National Knockout Cup action on Sunday when they travel away to visit Letchworth.
