BOBBY Sher took the prize wicket of Andrew Flintoff during Bucks' C&G defeat against Lancashireon Tuesday and then said: "I'll be telling my children and grandchildren about this."

The Bucks bowler faced the scourge of bowling worldwide and, after Flintoff had made ten runs off 13 balls, Sher tempted the big-hitter into taking a swipe.

But instead of the ball finding the middle of the bat, Flintoff could only top edge it and the ball spiralled into the safe hands of Wycombe all-rounder Jason Harrison.

Sher said: "It's one to tell all the children and grandchildren. It doesn't happen every day.

"Beforehand, I just thought don't get fazed by the moment. Just bowl a normal line and that's what I tried to do.

"He Flintoff didn't really look himself but he could have changed it at any moment.

"They could have score 450 if we hadn't got him out."

And Harrison relived is moment of glory in catching out one of Wisden's Players of the Year for 2004.

He said: "It was spiralling quite a bit so I just made sure I didn't drop it. Bobby Sher bowled well."

Sher, who runs his own car body repair business, was intent on making the most of his day from the start.

He said: "You do get a bit nervous but you've got to enjoy it.

"You want to play against the best so you've got to go out there and enjoy it."
