Wycombe Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield has been nominated for the League One Manager of the Month Award.
The 40-year-old, who was also up for the September prize but lost out to Blackpool’s Steve Bruce, has seen his Chairboys team pick up four wins and one draw from their five respective league fixtures during the course of the month.
This has seen the Adams Park team move into second place in the table, only behind title favourites, Birmingham City.
October started with a 2-2 draw away at Barnsley, before victories against Crawley Town (1-0), Peterborough United (3-1), Burton Albion (3-2), and Leyton Orient (3-2), soon followed.
This run has also seen Wycombe score 12 goals and pick up 13 points in that time, with Wanderers just four games in all competitions so far this season.
The other nominees are Mansfield Town’s Nigel Clough, Garry Monk of Cambridge United and Ruben Selles of Wanderers’ Thames Valley rivals, Reading.
The winner will be announced on Friday, November 8.
