Former Wycombe Wanderers striker D'Mani Mellor is currently on trial at Non League AFC Fylde.
The 23-year-old was released by the Chairboys this summer after only playing 13 times across two seasons, scoring just once.
He also had three loan spells away from Adams Park during his time at Buckinghamshire.
They were at Sutton United, where he failed to score in eight games and two separate stints at Rochdale.
Overall, he featured 28 times for the Greater Manchester team, scoring a solitary goal.
He has now been spotted playing in Fylde’s recent friendly match against Wigan Athletic, which they lost 4-0.
He came on as a second-half substitute and was praised for his work rate.
Prior to his trial for the Coasters, he had also played in a couple of Hartlepool United’s fixtures earlier on this month.
At the time of writing, the ex-Manchester United youth graduate remains unattached.
He made one first-team appearance for the Red Devils, featuring in the club’s 2-1 Europa League loss to Astana in November 2019.
His other competitive appearances for the Manchester United U21s in the Football League Trophy between 2019 and 2021.
Mellor also had a brief loan spell at Salford City at the end of the 2021/22 season.
