Wycombe Wanderers are ‘optimistic’ that they will sell out their allotted allocation for their opening league fixture away to Wrexham.
The club have been given 1,183 tickets for their first visit to North Wales since November 2007.
The match will kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday, August 10 and will be live on Sky Sports.
At the time of writing, nearly 500 admissions have been sold and it is anticipated that over 1,000 Chairboys fans will head west of the border next month.
The club told the Free Press that they are ‘delighted at the response of its supporters’ following a ‘strong first day of sales to season ticket holders’.
General sale opens on July 29 if there are any left for the fixture.
In addition to this, tickets are also selling fast for the club’s only home friendly match this summer.
This is against Watford at Adams Park on July 30.
