Wycombe Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield has admitted that he is ‘concerned’ for Jack Grimmer following his injury in the 0-0 draw against Burton Albion.
The right-back was stretchered off in the final 11 minutes after suffering what looked to be a foot injury.
The stand-in skipper for Joe Jacobson sat down and called for the medical team before being approached by Kane Vincent-Young and Freddie Potts, who also called to the bench.

Doesn't look good for Grimmer as he gets taken off via the stretcher.
He seems to be in some discomfort.

Speaking on how serious the injury is, Bloomfield said: “We’re not too sure at this stage.
“It was innocuous as there was no-one near him when he went down so we need to be a bit concerned for him.
“The medics are looking at him and we’re hoping that it’s not as bad as first feared.

“We won’t know until it settles in the next 24 to 48 hours and we’ll have a look at the whole situation.

“JJ [Joe Jacobson] got a knock in training yesterday [August 18] so that’s two of the boys picking up injuries in 24 hours.
When asked if the injury to Grimmer could force him into the transfer market, he added:
“We’ve got good competition in all areas of the pitch, one minute you’re well prepared but the next you could have two players out.
“We’ll be reassessing and we’ll make sure we’re ready by the end of the window.”
